You love technology, a dynamic environment and want to be part of state-of-the-art developments? The Frontend cluster is responsible for the planning, quality and productivity of its semiconductor manufacturing and drives related process and manufacturing innovations. You are currently studying Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or a related subject and want to lay the foundation for your career in machine learning and deep learning? Then this is the perfect internship for you in Villach!

In your new role you will:

Gain competence in the field of machine learning and deep learning
Develop algorithms and analyze data for semiconductor production in cooperation with experts and users
Realize a process optimization in production environment together with a dynamic team following 6 sigma techniques and tools for process improvement

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

You successfully meet the requirements for this position if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of
Mathematic
s ,
Physics ,
Computer Science ,
Data Science or a technical degree with a focus on digitization. You are best equipped for this task if you:

Are interested in manufacturing processes and related activities
Enjoy working with databases , algorithms and IT systems
Have knowledge in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL databases and Big Data (as advantage)

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf).
