Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.

Your responsibilities:

Implement the given design within the defined architecture in the best possible way
Proactively and constructively contribute to improve the architecture and design with a profound understanding of the system context
Follow the given software development guidelines
Unit testing / white box testing of developed software applications in development environments
Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes
Presenting ideas for system improvements, including effort estimations

Your profile:

Degree in computer science, information technology, software architecture, electrical engineering, telematics or similar
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Software Development: .Net C# development in Microsoft Visual Studio with a strong focus on OOP, Software Design Patterns and Unit-Testing
Desirable skills: Net framework 4.7+, .NET Core 3+, Azure, Jira/Confluence, GIT, Gitlab CI, Scrum, XML/JSON, Docker, Web-Services
Beneficial skills: Blazor/DevExpress/Angular/WinForms experience, Microsoft SQL knowledge, Kubernetes, Postman usage
Passion for software development and working in a team
Ability to get familiar with existing software products
Ability to research and apply learning’s to daily work
Mindset for efficiency, productivity and creativity
Interpersonal, communications and team player skills
Good oral and written English; German basics are beneficials
