As RnD Quality Assurance Specialist/Engineer, you will support the Global Product Group Manager Mechatronics in the continuous improvement of product quality and the structured resolution of quality issues. Your responsibilities

Guides and supports R&D teams by actively providing solutions and process standards to prevent defects and to ensure that products and systems are delivered with the desired quality.
Guides and supports extends through the phases of the development process to ensure that the results of each phase adhere to the defined quality standards and meet target dates and budgets
Creates transparency for R&D employees and stakeholders by defining, establishing, maintaining, and monitoring of appropriate quality metrics and KPIs.
Identifies project or development Quality risks and supports R&D teams to mitigate risk by triggering the proper actions.
Drives/performs root cause analysis for defects. Analyzes defect trends and proposes/advises on appropriate actions.
Makes sure defects are addressed as quickly after introduction as possible.
Manages customer communication including on-site visits for escalations or root-cause analysis

Your background

Technical degree (electronics, mechatronics, mechanics) or comparable
Experience in structured problem solving (8D, 3A, DMAIC, 5-Why, Ishikawa)
Good knowledge of development and manufacturing processes and methods (APQP/PPAP, DFA/DFM)
Ideally Six Sigma Yellow Belt training or comparable training. (DFSS, DMAIC)
Ability to organize own work area independently and to react quickly and flexibly to changing requirements
A high level of quality awareness, coupled with pragmatism and flexibility
Personal initiative, creative drive, and enjoyment in developing sustainable solutions
Ability to work across all company departments with a focus on Sales, Operations and R&D units, understanding the differences and leveraging the synergies
Fluent in German and English
