Junior Software Application Engineer (m/f/d) Controls & Processes

Your new adventure

The Junior Application Engineer works on the further development of the software solutions on the shop floor with the aim of providing lean and stable solutions that ensure a high level of transparency and process security.

The focus of the activities is in the area of ​​process control and process data recording on the SCADA level (including the interfaces to the MES system and the control level) as well as in the area of ​​data evaluation and, above all, the visualization for the end user.

Ensuring a reliable and efficient system landscape

Participation in and management of projects in the field of further development of systems and applications

Regular coordination with the departments in order to understand requirements and to be able to further develop the systems in a targeted manner

Evaluation and improvement of processes (area-specific and overarching processes and, in particular, problem-solving and improvement processes)

Radar function: Monitoring and evaluation of technical trends and new hardware and software systems

Participation in solving acute problems on the assembly lines and production facilities together with internal and external partners

Your experience s and skills

Junior candidates are welcome!

Completed studies (at least HTL) in the field of computer science/programming and/or MIS (Managed Information Systems)

Coding skills (e.g.: C#, Java, Python, ...)

Very good knowledge of German and good English

We offer

You will receive an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits . The minimum salary for this position is EUR 53.068,12 gross/year in accordance with the very attractive collective agreement for the metal industry. An overpayment is possible, depending on your qualifications and experience.
