EyeTech Solutions is currently seeking a System & Data Analyst for a client in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will be responsible for software project management and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and applications. This is a full-time, on-site position with a freelance contract for 6 to 12 months, with possible extensions.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established financial institution based in Luxembourg. They are dedicated to providing exceptional service to their clients and are constantly seeking new ways to improve their operations.

Description

Manage software projects, ensuring they are carried out according to the plan
Organize business requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of new applications and reports
Communicate project evolution with business departments, head office teams, and clients, and propose solutions
Analyze IT systems and applications to recommend solutions and reduce cost of operations
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Provide onsite support for business application systems
Participate in coordination with the vendor's helpdesk
Apply patches and hotfixes for business application systems
Assist with the maintenance of servers, network devices, and security devices

Profiles

Master's degree in IT, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial bank, financial institution, or consulting firm
Sound knowledge of common database software (DB2, SQL Server, My SQL)
Strong knowledge of C/C++/Java/Python
Strong business English and Chinese, with good knowledge of French/German as an asset
Organized with good time and priority management
Autonomous and able to work well under pressure
Team player with rigor and precision
