DevOps EngineerEisenstadt or LinzWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support our innovative DevOps team. One of the core competences of a DevOps Engineer is to independently evaluate new technologies, or to develop prototypes based on these, which are then being transferred into the build automation. The DevOps team basically works independently in a solution-oriented manner and offers the opportunity to introduce new and modern best practices and technologies into the productive system, thus constantly optimising this system, in order to realise and establish the long-term goals of (local) cloud provisioning and continuous integration and -delivery in an industrial software company. You will be responsible for: the support of the Azure DevOps Server (Further) Development or optimisation of the CI/CD pipelines Ensuring the availability of build services and generated artefacts for the respective customers (internal as well as external) Need to have: A Higher Technical Education Institute (preferably computer science), University of Applied Sciences or Technical University degree in automation, computer science or information technology Sound knowledge of operating systems in Windows and Linux Basic understanding of C++ projects Procedural and object-oriented programming (or scripting languages) Knowledge of containerisation (Docker) Knowledge of VCS (git) Fluent in German and English Willingness to continuously build up know-how in the area of "nice to have" skills Structured, team oriented way of working Technical education or very good technical perception Nice to have: Azure Pipelines and Jenkins Pipeline C#, python, perl, groovy Bash and Powershell Make, cmake, crossplatform-builds Web-Technologies (AngularJS, Node.js) Web-API-Technologies (REST, json/yaml/xml format) (locallly) Cloud Provisioning (Kubernetes, OpenShift) Installation mechanisms (CPack, Flatpak, Windows Installer XML, RPM, Debian-Pakete) Working hours: Full-time with a flexible schedule (flexi account) Place of employment: Austria: Eisenstadt or Linz, Partial possibility for home office (after successful break-in) Entry: immediately available Salary: The remuneration is paid in accordance with the collective contract.
