Are you a senior C++ Developer looking for the next exciting career move? Look no further than EPAM where we live and breathe technology.

Join our team in Zürich, where you will be responsible for providing technology solutions that solve business problems for a longstanding EPAM customer. Here, you will design and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages, and provide technical expertise to support and enhance existing applications. Additionally, you will be involved in code reviews, testing, application architecture, and ensuring smooth transition from test to production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
Analysing business requirements for the delegated Investment Management Designing, planning and delivering sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
Providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
Conducting code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
Ensuring that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as a software engineer in the C++ technology stack. Additional experience in the Java Enterprise technology stack is preferred: C++: core C++, C++ Standard Library, Qt framework & Java Enterprise: experience with core Java, Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Maven
Strong knowledge in object-oriented software engineering and extreme programming concepts e.g., test driven development
Experience with relational databases, SQL, procedural languages (preferably Oracle PL/SQL)
Experience in working with UNIX/Linux environment with shell script programming
Know-how to apply standards, methods, techniques, and templates as defined by our SDLC (GIT, Jira, Confluence and agile working methodology)
Design, plan and deliver solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment
Proactive and independent self-starter with high motivation
Good communication skills and able to coordinate technical discussion and activities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus in computer science or related field
