Your new responsibilities will include:

Developing and leading zero defect projects as part of an improvement initiative , as well as initiating and tracking internal improvement activities.
Representing quality interests in product development projects and identifying potential defect patterns and mechanisms, as well as looking at them statistically for new product launches (safe launch) to safeguard quality aspects
The participation in customer visits and customer audits including the presentation of the corresponding results
The failure analysis of power semiconductor modules including the raw materials used in case of current quality deviations as well as the definition and implementation of suitable corrective actions
The initiation of 8D reports and the management of automotive 8D teams as well as the moderation and participation in FMEA's
Communication with other Infineon production sites about failure mechanisms as well as corrective actions with special focus on 8Ds

As a Senior Engineer Quality Engineering (w/m/div), you set high quality standards for yourself and others. Due to your technical expertise, you always maintain an overview in complex situations and make the right decisions. You take responsibility for common goals and put team results above your own interests. You search for the best solution in a team and sometimes deal with the content of the areas involved.

You successfully meet the requirements if you:

Have successfully completed a university degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field.
Have professional experience in quality management
Ideally have already gained experience in the field of power electronics, power engineering or energy electronics
Knowledge in the field of statistical methods and corresponding software
Be able to communicate confidently in German and English
