What you`ll do Summary: As part of the solution & innovation experience (SIX) organization, you will play a key role in crafting high-end showcases for tier 1 events and SAP Experience Centers around the globe as well as developing proof-of-concepts and applications across all business areas. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that push the boundaries of technology and deliver exceptional user experiences. Our team questions the status-quo utilizing trending topics like sustainability and artificial intelligence or emerging technologies such as generative AI and 3D animation for web/AR/VR. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced UI developer who enjoys taking on ad-hoc challenges in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

Develop applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform following modern design guidelines and leveraging the React ecosystem
Support showcases, events, and other ad-hoc requirements
Support C-Level initiatives
Collaborate within a dedicated team of UX designers & developers
Cooperate with stakeholders and end-users to define & deliver the best possible user experience
Work in an agile and dynamic atmosphere where teamwork counts
Deliver scalable applications that reach a global audience

What you bring

Several years of experience and excellent skills in JavaScript & TypeScript. In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and standards
Strong proficiency in React: Deep understanding of core principles and design patterns. Familiarity with libraries used in the ecosystem such as React Router, Framer Motion, Jest
Broad knowledge of web development fundamentals such as responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
Deep professional experience consuming APIs (REST, Websockets) and (preferably) developing NodeJS based microservices
Comfortable with effectively prioritizing tasks, proposing solutions and implementing them efficiently. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to closely collaborate with designers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Good understanding of user experience & visual design principles
