Role Summary

As a Data Engineer – ADAS you are responsible to deliver well curated data to consumers from raw source data that has been generated for the verification of autonomous driving systems. You increase the value of data generation and minimize costs related to storage and data processing by implementing business value driven data pipelines, analysis, repair and reporting tools within a highly scalable and distributed Cloud ADAS Verification System.

Key Responsibilities

Cross domain coordination of data format & quality specification
Specification & implementation of Data Warehouse & Datalake pipelines
Specification & implementation of data models & APIs
Implementation of analysis & repair routines, ETL pipelines & dashboards
Close collaboration with an international team of data consumers, IT & engineering teams to achieve common business goals & milestones.
Specification & coordination of measures to ensure data privacy according to region specific regulations (e.g. GDPR & PIPL)

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or comparable fields
At least 4 years of hand on experience in developing data analysis & ETL applications leveraging DevOps processes and infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge in distributed scalable systems, cloud computing, Apache Spark
Extensive experience in developing containerized applications like Docker & Kubernetes or equivalent technologies.
Comprehensive knowledge of English (speak & write)
Extensive experience in data modelling, SQL & NO-SQL databases & concepts
Experience in programming language Python, Java & Scala
