Job Responsibilities

This challenging position focuses significant attention on delivering solutions that meet our customers' technical requirements as well as productivity needs during the equipment lifecycle. Main responsibilities.
As a process engineer you will be responsible for executing process development plans, including development and investigation of new wafer clean processes and necessary hardware. You will also support Joint Development Projects with customers. To get started, you will benefit from a robust training and development program, which will allow you to acquire the necessary skills to lead development activities, enabling you to characterize hardware/process interactions and process windows.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Develop and characterize new wafer clean wet processes
Define process specifications and equipment requirements
Execute test plans to reach customer success criteria
Set up and develop new processes and applications on customer site
Coordinate required experiments and generate internal and external reports
Demonstrate strong communication skills and teamwork ability

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics; or
M.S with 3+ years of relevant work experience; or
B.S with 5+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory.
Experience in surface preparation and analytical techniques.
Interest in advanced technology and an on-going desire to learn.
In-dept understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs and deadlines.
Excellent people skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.
Collaboration/ Matrix environment mindset.

Employment in Austria

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group F. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
