As a Software Developer in a Linux environment (m/f/d), your mission is to contribute to the growth and success of our company by designing, developing, and maintaining our in-house HPC solution. With your expertise, you will play a crucial role in shaping our software architecture, ensuring high code quality, and driving innovation in our systems. Join our international team and make a significant impact in the transition to renewable energy. Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate with the team to design and optimize our in-house software stack.
Co-design and implement new software and system architectures to enhance our systems' performance and scalability.
Take responsibility for specific parts of the software architecture, ensuring their efficiency and reliability.
Independently plan, design, implement, and test components based on the Linux operating system, such as application APIs.
Uphold high code quality standards through rigorous testing and continuous improvement practices.
Foster collaboration and information exchange with teams located in different locations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements, incorporating them into our development process.
Contribute to agile software development methodologies and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Requirements

Fluent in English.
Several years of experience in programming with statically and dynamically typed languages like: GoLang, JavaScript.
Experience with Test-Driven Development.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Ability to work independently and self-sufficiently on assigned tasks.
Result-oriented mindset: Demonstrated ability to independently determine necessary steps to achieve desired outcomes (“get stuff done” mentality).
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and open-minded approach.
Proficiency in GNU/Linux system administration, particularly Debian.
Practical experience with agile software development methodologies.

Preferred:

Familiarity with blockchain technology and its applications.
Experience in high-performance computing (HPC) or related fields.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential applications in the market.
Knowledge of hardware-related programming languages such as C++ or Rust (desired, but optional).
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
