In your new role you will:

Be in charge of the implementation of suitable strategies to reduce the defect density driven yield loss
Develop new concepts , integrate new tool platforms and data extraction methods for defect density learning for our processing and development line
Be responsible for the definition of unit process requirements regarding defect density reduction
Plan, design, perform and evaluate process experiments (DoE´s)
Optimiz e the process sequence for manufacturability and support the ramp-up
Participate in and advance of automation projects as well as development of new methods

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A university degree (Master or above) in Natural Science, Material Science, Physics, Semiconductor Physics or similar
Several years experience in semiconductor technology development or Defect Engineering (Yield Improvement experience as a plus)
Fluent English skills and good German skills
Willingness to work shifts 6/3

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group G ( https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf ). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
