About the Role

For our team based in Vienna (1070) we are looking for a full time: Senior Developer Python (all genders) - Data Integration 100% remote possible As a Senior Developer at raicoon you would be responsible for developing automation strategies for the analysis and prediction of renewable energy processes. You will be part of a young, motivated, international team and challenge our existing assumptions and show us how to improve things.
What you will be doing

Working as a part of our Data Integration Team on existing and new development projects and processes focusing on monitoring and analysis solutions for photovoltaic plants
Developing cutting-edge features for solar engineers
Improving automation strategies for analysis and prediction of renewable energy processes

What you will need to succeed

Experience working as Python developer of 4+ years
Experience with Microservices and Pub/Sub Architecture
Deep knowledge of Message Brokers and Event Processing
Technical degree in Computer Science, or similar
Profound knowledge of Python
A good knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
Experience with source code management tools (git)
Experience in Python’s data science libraries (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn) is required

It is a plus if you have experience with

Data wrangling skills are welcome
Automated testing with pytest or other testing libraries beneficial
DevOps skills (docker, gitlab-ci, kubernetes)
(Rudimentary) knowledge in frontend development
