Backend Developer (m/w/d)We are a young, dynamic startup based in Austria, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for de-signing and implementing new features and functionality for our Ruby on Rails-based web applications. This is a remote position, with the option for on-site work in Austria.The ideal candidate will have several years of professional experience developing with Ruby on Rails, as well as a strong understanding of web application development and software engineering best practices. Experience with TypeScript, React and GraphQL is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities Design and implement new features and functionality for our Ruby on Rails-based web application and API Collaborate with other members of the development team to ensure that code is well-desig-ned, efficient, and properly tested Contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of our web applications Help troubleshoot and debug production issues as they arise Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Several years of professional experience developing with Ruby on Rails Strong understanding of web application development and software engineering best practices Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs to provide an interface to our iOS and Android apps Experience with TypeScript, React, and GraphQL is a plus Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git) Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment If you are a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with a passion for building high-quality web applications, we would love to hear from you.
