Consultant or Senior Consultant - Client Tax Reporting

Do you have a passion for new technologies and are you interested in tax and financial topics? As part of the Client Tax Reporting team, you will advise our clients, gain an insight into the tax processing of bank data, and solve complex problems in an agile consulting environment. The focus is on Client Tax Reporting for Swiss or international bank clients.

Your contribution to KPMG

Process and assess bank data (e.g. interest or dividends) in accordance with the respective tax law requirements
Be responsible for the controlling and cleansing of bank data
Independently prepare country-specific tax reports for private individuals resident in Switzerland or globally
Develop new country modules for the in-house software with your team or expand existing ones
Carry out tests as part of the quality assurance process
Analyse existing processes and develop optimisation options
Act as a link to customers, understand their needs and create appropriate specifications

This is what makes you successful

Degree (University, Applied Sciences) if applicable with majors in Banking & Finance, Computer Science or comparable
First professional experience in banking or finance is an advantage, e.g. as a business analyst
Good knowledge of tax law and experience with databases
Very good knowledge of English; German would be an advantage
High level of initiative, flexibility, ability to work under pressure and enjoy working on projects as part of a team
Independent and well-organized way of working with a high level of quality awareness and reliability
