We at Revo Foods believe in a world where we can produce fish and meat without polluting the environment or exploiting animals. How we do it? By using 3D Food Printing of plant-based meats. What we are looking for
We are searching for a Software Engineering Intern for a duration of 5-6 months. As an intern in Software Engineering, you will be proactively using your knowledge and expertise in developing in-house constructed hardware for our production facility of 3D printers. At the same time, you will have a chance to grow with an international team of highly motivated engineers. Your tasks will include:

Collaborating with our experienced team of engineers and food scientists to design and develop a state-of-the-art slicer software
Conducting research and experimentation to understand the challenges and opportunities of non-planar 3D food printing
Implementation of algorithms and methodologies to enable precise control and synchronization of the printing process
Optimizing the slicer for performance, speed, and reliability
Conducting rigorous testing and validation to ensure the slicer meets the highest quality standards
Documentation of the development process and prepare reports on findings

Who you are

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or related fields
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
Familiarity with 3D printing concepts and technologies
Knowledge of computational geometry, data structures, and algorithms
Enthusiasm for the culinary arts and an eagerness to explore new possibilities in the field
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
Perfect English knowledge (German knowledge is beneficial)
Living in Vienna or ready to move here (voted most livable city in the world for 10 consecutive years)
