Collaborate closely with the team to solve technical challenges and bring new features to our customers
Stay up-to-date on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors
Consider and include non-functional requirements (e.g. security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability) when architecting solutions
Redesign pages & components, develop/maintain features and work on getting a unified & modern web experience for our customers
Learning and sharing with the development team through activities such as code reviews
Participate collaboratively in meetings, planning, and reviews.
Participate in technical and architectural discussions and decisions as a team

Your profile
You are an experienced software developer who's fluent in current web technologies for backend and frontend development. You should have experience and enjoy working independently. In this role, you will be part of a small but growing team, have the opportunity to expand your skills in various technologies and advance your career in software development. Hard requirements:

Multiple years of practical experience as a developer using Javascript, Typescript or Kotlin/Java
English B1 minimum (company language is English)
Willingness to learn new things
Strong communication skills
You always care about software security
Experience working in in an agile environment
Your code is clean and easily maintainable
Ideal skills:

Experience with object-oriented programming languages, preferably Kotlin
Familiarity with

React
Linux
Relational databases

Residence in Vienna, Austria or willingness to relocate with our support
Strong problem-solving skills
Energy, team spirit, and a creative mindset to continually improve our processes
Have an eye for creating good user experiences
Knowledge of DevOps, Træfik, Docker, or NoSQL databases
Have a magic wand that identifies and fixes all bugs
Don't have all of these skills? That's ok - we also care a lot about your character, attitude, and culture add. Plus, we will be happy to help fill in learning gaps, we do just have the hard requirements listed above!

Our office is in Vienna, Austria, and we’re looking primarily to hire locally. We’ll consider strong candidates outside of Vienna, too, and are open to support your relocation if desired. While we're looking to fill a full-time position (38.5hrs), we are open to part-time employment as well (30-35hrs).

Following the guidelines of the Austrian collective bargaining agreement for IT, we offer a monthly minimum gross salary of €3455,-
If you have more experience, we'll adjust our offer based on your experience and credentials.
We are looking for someone with higher level experience and therefore for this role, our salary ranges from €65-75+ k/per year.
