We are seeking a talented Junior Fullstack Engineer to join our product engineering team. You will be part of an engineering team, working autonomously to reach company and team goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow.

Collaborating with other fullstack and frontend engineers to develop and maintain single-page web applications using various frontend technologies.
Developing backend components and services to support frontend functionalities.
Participating in ensuring continuous integration, maintaining code quality, and adhering to coding standards. Collaborate with the team to maintain a high standard of code through code reviews and constructive feedback.
Assist in maintaining technical documentation, including API documentation, code comments, and system architecture diagrams.

Collaborate with team members, attend stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
Seeking opportunities to grow professionally and take advantage of mentorship and learning resources within the company.

3+ years professional experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in full-stack development, including frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend technologies (e.g. Java, Scala, .Net, etc).

Basic understanding of frontend frameworks (experience with Angular is a big plus).
Knowledge of basic database concepts and experience with SQL databases.
Hands-on experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and solid understanding of API design principles and best practices.
Knowledge of web application security best practices, including common vulnerabilities and techniques for securing applications against attacks.
Ability to approach problems logically and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Familiarity with writing unit tests and conducting basic testing procedures.
Familiarity in any of the following areas is a big plus: design patterns and domain-driven design, microservices, functional programming.
Strong willingness to learn new technologies and tools as required for the role

The gross minimum salary according to the Collective Agreement based on the Austrian law for this position is EUR 2.854,-. This includes full health insurance, occupational accident insurance, a public pension scheme, and public unemployment insurance. Depending on your professional qualifications and previous experience, your salary could be significantly higher.
