The opportunity
In this role you will be part of our Consulting business and collaboratively work on challenging Data Architecture, Engineering and Analytics projects for our clients while using the latest technologies.
Our Consulting business offers a broad range of functional and cross-country services dedicated to providing high-value and trusted advice to clients, with a specific focus on business transformation programs. We provide seamless, consistent, and high-quality services to our clients around the world. Our teams work collaboratively with our clients to deliver all aspects from design to delivery of data, analytics and insight solutions.

Your key responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy the data architecture for our clients
Translate data, integration, and analytics requirements into technical recommendations
Design and build insightful visualizations, reports, and presentations to communicate results
Create architectural blueprints and models to help our clients realize value from data-centric projects
Design and develop data solutions using industry-standard technologies, collaborating with other data architects and engineers to ensure that solutions are in line with technological trends
Ensure that solutions are delivered on time; collaborate with project sponsors to manage scope and risk

Skills and attributes for success

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or similar field and you have from 1 up to 5 years of working experience with Data Engineering and Architecture (e.g. Data Architecture Design, Data Modelling, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Management)
Experience with hands-on advanced SQL skills
Capability to take on tasks with little direction, and produce high-value deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Hands on experience in architecting Big Data applications using technologies such as Spark or Hive
Hands-on programming skills with Python, Java or other language
Interest or experience in the broader data, analytics and automation field: Data Governance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Visualization, Process Mining, Robotic Process Automation
Experience architecting data solutions on one or more major cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) platforms and/or at least one cloud platform data engineering certificate
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with ability to convey technical information in non-technical language
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate with a team, including remote teams
Business fluency in English is required and German is a plus
