IT Technical Consultant Manufacturing Services - MES (f/m/d)

In this interesting role, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining IT Applications and IT Infrastructure in alignment with IT-Strategy within the scope of MES. You will define detailed IT Applications / IT Infrastructure / Data Management -solutions or Data guidelines and procedures as well as requirements and solutions, verify solutions in a Proof-of-concept environment and support the IT Architect designing the solution. You will also be responsible for guidance on implementations, respective rollouts, solution testing and customization.
Your Responsibilities

Define detailed IT Applications / IT Infrastructure / Data Management -solutions or Data guidelines and procedures as well as requirements and solutions in the field of MES.
Verify solutions in a Proof-of-concept environment and support the IT Architect designing the solution.
Build or customize solutions including testing and rollout/implementation in compliance with the change process
Coordinate the required concepts to ensure go-live and to hand-over solution to IT operations
Define required operational and process documentation

Your Profile

BS in Computer Science, Software engineering, Automation, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or similar
Over 3 years of working experience in MES Projects
Maintenance and Customization of MES landscapes and MES Applications
Experience in MES Rollout Projects
Experience working with databases such as MS SQL
Good Knowledge in Web Application Development (HTML5)
Base SAP Knowledge (PP, IDOCS)
Good Experience in at least one Programming Language as .NET, TypeScript, Node.JS, JavaScript, C#
Base Project Management Skills
Excellent Understanding of MES/ERP and Manufacturing Processes
Excellent inter personal skills to work effectively with our internal customer Manufacturing, Engineering and Equipment teams – strong Customer orientation
Knowledge of Process Management and Service Management
Analytical thinking and problem resolution skills as well as organizational talent
Maintenance of MES applications
Customize and develop MES functionalities
Support and Training of MES members and key-users in respect of system functionality and software features
Support the Development of MES and Interfaces to MES in strong coordination with external partners
Intercultural awareness and strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
