IT Operations Engineer (f/m/d)

In this interesting role, you will ensure support to users by taking in and resolving tickets. You will be responsible for consistent execution of operational procedures and thus the smooth running of all IT Applications and Infrastructure as laid out in the respective service level agreements.

Your Responsibilities

Pick up and prioritize Service Requests & Incidents and execute the tasks
Monitor and regular execute data back-up of systems
Approve, create, manage and maintain IT continuity plans
Administrate and manage user identity and access to IT systems
Implement & ensure security protection
Support of the key-users in respect of system functionality and software features
Maintenance and configuration of MES applications
Support the development of MES and Automation System
Support the MES full test/validations for major system upgrades or releases of new MES functions.
Support and maintain interfaces to equipment level
Communicate with Suppliers if issues cannot be resolved internally

Your Profile

HTL/BSc degree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Automation, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or similar
Atleast 3-5 years of relevant experience
Experience in integrating manufacturing equipment to host systems such as MES or SCADA
Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), as well as .NET, TypeScript, Node.JS, JavaScript, C# would be good to have
Experience working with databases such as MS SQL
Test-Driven development methodology
Knowledge of Process Management and Service Management
Strong customer orientation
Excellent inter personal skills to work effectively with our internal customer Manufacturing, Engineering and Equipment teams
Excellent organizational time management skills
Intercultural awareness and strong interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical thinking and problem resolution skills as well as organizational talent
Experience in intercultural collaboration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
Willingness to work in a shift- model
