In your new role you will:

Gain experience with ion beam tuning which is critical for each process specification change at implantation
Work on an AI prediction model that estimates the tuning outcome for the consecutive implantation process as the first step ( part of your thesis ). The final goal is to extend it to predict outcomes for multiple upcoming tunings

Type of employment: Full-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

A Bachelor’s degree and most of your Master courses finished in Data Science (or similar degree)
A solid experience with Python , including scikit -learn and TensorFlow / Keras / Pytorch , makes you well-prepared for the task
Fluent English-Skills (written and spoken) and German as a plus
Know-How about SQL and databases (would be advantageous)
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf.
