Employer's Job Description
The Maine Community College System (MCCS) is seeking a full-time Director of Business Process Innovation. The Director of Business Process Innovations (Director) will lead Communities of Practice (COPs) across MCCS to maintain and improve operations leveraging the System’s Anthology Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Brightspace Learning Management Software (LMS) and related systems. This position will be responsible for partnering with senior leadership, stakeholders, and decision makers across the System to configure and optimize our Student Information System while stabilizing and scaling our foundational business processes across our colleges. The role will help plan and drive our strategy and associated business growth projects. The responsibilities include developing and leading teams to harmonize and develop end-to-end business processes, technology platforms, and associated change management activities.
The Director of Business Process Innovation is an MEA Administrators Unit position and is currently pending classification. The required minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, innovation or a similar field and four years of relevant work experience. Master’s degree and six years of relevant work experience preferred.
The required knowledge, skills, and abilities include, but not limited to, the following: demonstrated track record of improving operational efficiency, and be an expert at influencing business stakeholders, with success serving as a trusted advisor and advocate; hands-on experience with Anthology, preferably in a configuration capacity; ability to think strategically, and to plan and implement collaboratively; ability to quickly understand complex issues, synthesizing large amounts of information to drive strategic decision-making effectively and efficiently; must be intellectually curious with rigorous attention to detail and a passion for problem solving and needs to have the ability to travel as necessary to any of the Maine Community Colleges for meetings, workshops, etc.
