What you'll do
We are looking for a working student in Walldorf. Ideally you have first experience in development (JAVA) and you like complex tasks with a high degree of explorative working style. You will have the chance to work as part of a scrum team in SAP Transportation Management and support the full development cycle from design phase to release to customer. We build prototypes and proof of concepts for applications in JAVA in order to validate future developments. As a plus you will gain insights in the Business Processes related to Transportation Management.

What you bring

Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Informatics
Computer skills: Strong in JAVA development
Experience with Agile software engineering Practices: Test-Driven Development, Pair Programming
Language skills: Geman and fluent in English
Soft skills: Team player, self-organized, explorative with a strong “can-do” mindset
Others: Experience with/Background in generative AI and frontend development is a plus

We build and run Digital Supply Chain Business Software in the area of Transportation Management. The team is visionary and creative in realizing new ways to enhance the Software we build in JAVA with latest technology such as LLM (generative AI). Our daily Business is to build innovative Software in highest quality standards, that offers our customers the chance to keep up with latest technology.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
