Job Description & Summary Acting as an agile unit within the organization (flexible working hours, flexible working model with remote work, learning and development time, modern tooling), the Software Delivery & Operation team’s mission is to scale the software-driven consulting business.

The team is composed of Engineering Leads and DevSecOps Engineers. Engineering Leads deliver and operate software products end-to-end, and DevSecOps Engineers provide support for developer productivity and site reliability engineering.

Your tasks

You act as a Software Engineer, work ing closely with the other Software Delivery & Operations team members on various products and projects . We help you grow and become one of the Engineering Leads.

You help the other Engineers Lead with the end-to-end delivery and operations of internal, and/or external software products, systems and solutions.
You work closely with the respective Product Owners and subject matter experts to establish and iteratively change an agile delivery plan for the product based on functional and nonfunctional requirements, technical feasibility and dependencies, and your delivery estimates.
You collaborat e with the product delivery teams (including external contributors near- and off-shore) on solution architecture, infrastructure design, security, SDLC and operations , while being compliant with the firm’s software engineering standards.
You inform, influence and contribute to the firm's software engineering standards through feedback based on your first-hand experience.
You are exposed to a high variety of business domains, project types, and modern technologies and you join the rapidly growing PwC Developers community to help increase the speed, reliability and cost-effectiveness of our delivery and operations practices.

Your profile

You have technical experience as a Software Engineer, delivering software products and/or projects following an agile methodolog y and you want to become an Engineer Lead where you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery and operations of software products, systems and solutions.
You have various hands-on experiences using different technology stack s & framework s . JavaScript and TypeScript are required. Others are a plus.

You are an excellent problem solver and always find your way around. You enjoy learning new things and believe in thinking outside of the box. You always see mistakes as an opportunity to improve.
You understand the concepts of various fields of software engineering, such as cloud native applications, web frontends and backends, SQL and NoSQL databases, CI/CD, system security and identity management.
You are experienced with or an interest in business intelligence platforms & tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate , Power Apps or Power BI , to enable new business case s . Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud is a plus.
You are a strong team player with good communication skills. English is a must. German is a plus.
