In this role you will be working as a Software Architect part of Electrification Business Area for Smart Power Division based in Bergamo, Italy. In this role you will be reporting to Design, Configuration & Knowledge Sharing Agile Unit and will be responsible for defining and maintaining a modern, scalable, and maintainable architecture of the web configurator platform in EL Business applications.
Your responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain recognized expertise in your specialized area, seamlessly integrating the latest advancements in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work
Unleash your innovative mindset to uncover fresh solutions, following your own ideas, formulating hypotheses, and defining effective validation methods
Uphold relevant standards while developing new technologies and products, ensuring excellence in your deliverables.
Champion quality by incorporating quality assurance practices early in the development process
Foster active collaboration with technical experts from various areas and functions, leveraging their expertise to drive optimal outcomes
Offer valuable consulting services to both internal and external stakeholders, sharing your wealth of knowledge within your area of expertise

Your background

Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field
Demonstrate a minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience (with 5 to 8 years in Software Architecture) in web technologies such as React JS, Angular JS, Angular4, and WebAPI, specializing in the design and development of responsive web apps
Showcase proficiency in C#, .Net, ASP.NET MVC, and .Net Core SQL Server
Showcase proficiency in any Configuration Technology like Configit, Rulestream, Tacton, or any ABB proprietary configurator application
Acquire hands-on experience in microservices, Nosql DBs, REST services, and AKS Architecture
Exhibit strong knowledge of Azure DevOps processes, encompassing the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, branching, and versioning
Any knowledge and experience with ABB Electrification products will be advantageous
