EyeTech Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer Java JEE for a client in Luxembourg. This freelance role is a 6-month contract with potential extensions, and requires on site work with fluency in English and French.

Client Details

The client is a leading financial institution in Luxembourg, seeking to innovate and bring new front-office and reporting services to their customers.

Description

The Software Engineer Java JEE will analyze new requirements as requested by business or regulation, integrate vendor software components into the UBS system landscape, ensure deliveries are secure, stable and operational before being put into production, ensure proper version control of software artifacts, and manage and help to timely resolve defects. This role is within the department within the IT organization in Luxembourg.

Profiles

First experience in the banking industry
Academic degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of Java with experience in JEE and application servers/web containers like WebSphere and Tomcat
Strong knowledge of relational databases like Oracle RDBMS (SQL, PL/SQL)
Knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell scripting

Offer

6-month freelance contract with possible extensions
On site work in Luxembourg
Fluency in English and French required
Knowledge in German and Luxembourgish is a plus.
