We are urgently looking for an experienced SQL query expert - consultant to produce complex SQL queries for our internal clients' money management system. This is a temporary position with an initial contract duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extensions.

Client Details

Our client is a prominent financial institution based in Luxembourg. They have a robust money management system and require a skilled SQL query expert to optimize and enhance its functionality. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work in a professional and dynamic environment.

Description

As a SQL query expert - consultant, your responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing complex SQL queries on SQL Server 2017.
Collaborating with internal clients to understand their data requirements and translating them into efficient SQL queries.
Optimizing database schemas, creating indexes, and improving query performance.
Troubleshooting and resolving SQL-related issues.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to enhance the money management system.

Profiles

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Strong expertise in SQL Server 2017 and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Fluent in English, with knowledge of French being a plus.
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and data modeling techniques.
Familiarity with programming languages like C#, Java, or Python is advantageous.
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel is beneficial.
