What you’ll do
You’ll be the (Senior) User Assistance (UA) Developer/ (Senior) Technical writer m/f/d for one or two development teams. You’ll develop documentation in a future-proof cloud environment, using state-of-the-art development methods.

In this role, you will:

Describe SAP Cloud ALM and new features being developed for our users including help on the internet (SAP Help Portal), in-app help, UI texts, terminology work, how-to videos, and blog posts
Work closely with various colleagues in product management, user experience (UX), software development to learn all about the product and its features
Explain everything to all kinds of users – from the big picture down to the small details
Do daily updates, which is possible due to our highly agile, feature-based, continuous development mode
Quickly react to and implement changes based on full integration into an agile Scrum team with frequent, personal exchange
Collaborate with the central UA team daily to ensure cross-product consistency and mutual support

What you bring

5 plus years of experience in the field of technical writing in IT
Degree in English studies, or English native speaker m/f/d with excellent writing skills as documentation is written in English
Fluent in German as core teams are based in Germany and you’ll be required to check German translation
Experience with development teams working in an agile/Scrum mode or in feature-driven, cloud-native development
Very Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Experience with content management systems (preferably DITA CCMS), terminology work, how-to video creation, blogging
You’re an open-minded, quick, flexible team player m/f/d and embrace diversity
Excellent communication skills, ability to understand complex and technical matters
Ability to transform your knowledge into understandable texts for different target groups
Knowledge of GitHub would be a bonus

Internally, SAP Cloud ALM is the flagship for the Golden Path development standard for SAP cloud applications and follows the Deploy with Confidence (DwC) model.
