What you’ll do

You’ll be the (Junior) User Assistance Developer / (Junior) Technical Writer m/f/d for one or two development teams. You’ll develop documentation in a future-proof cloud environment, using state-of-the-art development methods.

In this role, you will:

Describe SAP Cloud ALM and new features being developed for our users including application help on the internet (SAP Help Portal), in-app help, user interface (UI) texts, terminology work, how-to videos, and blog posts
Work closely with various colleagues in product management, user experience (UX), and software development to learn all about the product and its features
Explain everything to all kinds of users – from the big picture down to the small details
Do daily updates, which our highly agile, feature-based, continuous development mode enables you to
Quickly react to and implement changes, based on frequent, personal exchange within our agile Scrum team
Collaborate with the central UA team daily to ensure cross-product consistency and mutual support

What you bring

Degree in English studies, or English native speaker m/f/d with excellent writing skills as documentation is written in English
Fluent in German (core teams are based in Germany and you’ll be required to check German translation)
2 plus years of experience in the field of technical writing in IT
Excellent communication skills, ability to understand complex and technical matters, and to transform your knowledge into understandable texts for different target groups
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
You’re an open-minded, quick, flexible team player m/f/d who embraces diversity
Knowledge of GitHub would be a bonus
Experience with development teams working in an agile/Scrum mode or in a feature-driven, cloud-native development is a plus

Internally, SAP Cloud ALM is the flagship for the Golden Path development standard for SAP cloud applications and follows the Deploy with Confidence (DwC) model.
