Introduction

Your Role and Responsibilities

Define program objectives, scope, and success criteria, and develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and schedules.
Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale IT programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions within budget and timelines.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders, to ensure effective program execution.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and track financial metrics to ensure projects remain within approved financial limits.
Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as necessary.
Conduct regular program reviews and provide accurate and timely reporting on project status, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving best practices, process enhancements, and lessons learned across the program management function.
Coach and mentor project managers and team members, providing guidance and support in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT program management, and proactively apply relevant knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelor's degree in Computer engineering with 25+ years of IT experience.
Proven experience in managing large size team (at least 300+ FTEs)
Proven experience with at least 15 years as an IT Program Manager, overseeing and delivering large-scale and complex IT programs, preferably in a consulting or technology services environment.
10+ years’ experience in leading distributed teams. Preferable with experience working with teams from French part of Switzerland and India.
Must have delivered project/program in the financial domains of Anti money laundering (AML), Retail banking, Private Banking (Corporate Actions).
Must have experience in delivering greenfield implementation of digital platform (Web and Mobile) for a large-scale banking institution.
Demonstrated strong understanding of design thinking process and have applied in the delivery of digital transformation program(s).
Must have experience of delivering programs with technologies/standards – COBOL, Java, Angular, IBM’s Mobilefirst platform, IIB, OWASP (security framework for web/mobile applications), DevOps.
Must have experience of managing or setting up QA/Test organization (People, processes, Governance) for clients IT function.
Basic understanding of managing cloud based engagements will be highly desirable. Preferred to be supported by badge and/or certification.
Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, with the ability to tailor approaches to project requirements.
Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on program governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Must be proficient with project management & collaboration tools such as MS Project, Sharepoint, Jira, Mural, Webex.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
Project management certifications, such as PMP and/or similar certification from multi-national consulting organizations, are highly desirable.
Proven experience in effective people management and leading multi-cultural teams across different geographies.
