Deine Rolle im Team
As a Senior Developer in the Solar Infrastructure Management Team at raicoon, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases and APIs storing configuration data of the plants we operate. Furthermore, you will be one of the go to expert for questions regarding the data model of those databases. Additionally, you will help in improving and automating the onboarding process for new data,from a manual solution to enabling a fully automated self service feature for customers.
Designing and implementing databases and APIs to store and serve configuration data of PV plants
Communicating the data model and its connections to the real world to other team members with various backgrounds
Building processes to import and export information into and from those systems
Migrating from legacy onboarding processes to a fully automated customer self service approach

Qualifikationen
A good knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
Solid knowledge of either electrical engineering systems or renewable energy systems such as solar installations
Data wrangling skills are welcome
Automated testing with pytest or other testing libraries beneficial
DevOps skills (docker, gitlab-ci, kubernetes)
Good communication skills
Eager to learn new things and share that knowledge with the team
Independent working attitude with structured self organization
You have good knowledge of English (spoken and written)

Erfahrung
Experience working as Python developer of 4+ years
Experience working with Django
Experience working with gRPC

Ausbildung
Technical degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
