We are looking for a Python Backend/Web Developer (m/w/d), part-time (20-30hours) or full-time, flexible working hours, fully remote possible.Main responsibilitiesDesign, documentation, implementation, and testing of Python-based web services Development of new and improvement/maintenance of existing REST-API-based backends Close interaction with frontend developer Your software skill-set5+ years of professional experience in software development Experience applying Python-based backend and web development frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI Experience designing RESTful API designs Safe usage of CI/CD tools such as GitLab Beneficial skillsTest-driven development (e.g., Pytest) Container virtualisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Terraform) Serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda) Experience with relational data bases such as PostgreSQL and web server (e.g., nginx, apache) Basic knowledge in frontend technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Quasar, NiceGUI, Streamlit) Your ProfileAutonomous, self-structured, proactive, goal-directed, team-oriented, and communicative work attitude (links to projects or GitHub account beneficial) Motivated to integrate into a collaborative team of front-end, scientific computing, and DevOps engineers, and data scientists Motivated to continuously expand current skill-set by exploring, testing, and implementing novel state-of-the-art frameworks and solutions Professional language skills in English and/or German What Siesta has to offer for you?Extensive experience providing infrastructure supporting to work "fully-remote" Particularly flexible working ours.
