To do so, we are hiring a PHP backend developer, that joins our dev team, which currently consists of two frontend developers and one backend developer. What you will be doing Implementing business logic for new features Extending our APIs that are consumed by multiple frontends Writing tests for your changes Actively participating in a SCRUM team Assisting the CTO by managing and optimizing our backend infrastructure What you will not be doing Paying down technical debt from before you joined Sitting in useless meetings all day Working towards arbitrary deadlines Being a "ticket-machine" who just implements what someone else specified How we do things We work agile by adopting SCRUM We strongly push for test & build automation to keep code quality high Checkout our tech stack at https://stackshare.io/oeservice/oe-service-gmbh What you have to bring to the table Motiviation to play an active role in a small team At least three years of relevant practical experience in working as a PHP backend developer with Laravel or comparable frameworks Excellent skills in PHP, MySQL and web technologies in general Excellent English in both speaking and writing Not a must but ideally you also ... have basic german skills have basic understanding of FE development with JavaScript have interest and or experience in DevOps and infrastructure Ops Our offer to you A yearly salary between EUR 48 k and EUR 70 k, all-in, depending on your qualification & experience Flexible working hours a.k.a Gleitzeit Hybrid workmode, defined by the team, currently 3 days on site, 2 days remote Yearly pass for WienerLinien The best office espresso in Vienna, as much as you want Does this sound interesting to you?
