YOUR TASKS Reporting to the Head of Digital Channels, you will take ownership of backend development of transactional and mobile banking services from technical concept to implementation. You will own what we build and take joint operational support responsibilities of our team's system. Helping monitor and optimise our production system You will jointly with rest of the team investigate 3rd level customer queries. Implementing services as APIs that achieve our API strategy and roadmap. Applying design patterns Collaboration with our devops team for the roll-out of applications in test and production environments. Creation of technical concepts for those new APIs that we will build. Close teamwork with Analysts, QA team members. Taking your own initiative for continuous quality & technical improvements. YOUR PROFILE At least 5 years professional experience in Java Of which at least 2 years experience in Spring Boot / Micro services based Java development Excellent knowledge of Java and Microservices Solid command of REST API design and development. Independent worker, while being a team player. Beneficial: Experience in Nginx, Istio, Envoy, Azure Kubernetes (AKS), Postgres, Helm v3+, GitHub Required: Experience in Java 8+, Microservices, Gradle (or Maven), Jenkins, GIT, Spring Boot About you: You have either successfully completed education in software development (university, technical or advanced technical college) OR you are a self-taught guru with proven experience and github/lab track record. You have a solid foundation in object oriented programming and Java. You are analytical, structured and logical thinker with attention to detail You are proactive and the first person to jump on a production issue.
