As an IS Platform Owner Power Platform you will build and lead a highly collaborative product team. You will partner with leaders throughout the organization to inspire and drive products demand, roadmap and growth through identifying areas where such products can bring most business value. You will evangelize the products’ vision and be incredibly close to your customers. You will establish an organization for the platform (with direct reports/dotted line reports) to ensure smooth operations of the platform and seamless delivery of continuous improvements. You will evangelize the product vision and be incredibly close to your customers. Will have to work in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment, partnered with business stakeholders (Product Owners, Product Managers) through Core IS, Functions and business areas in defining agile requirements and enabling agile teams to deliver. Working with product designers and engineers you will quickly discover and deliver solutions to drive desired customer and business outcomes. You will understand the industry dynamics and provide a creative lens to view new opportunities.
This position reports to
Global IS Digital Solutions Leader
Your responsibilities

Reports team progress and success, providing high visibility to product owner and stakeholders
Continuous improvement to establish more effective cross departmental communication between development and business management
Support Service Owner with managing the product backlog, spring backlog, release burn-down and prioritizing requirements for sprints
Manages projects in both Agile and Waterfall development environments
Is responsible to act in compliance with Corporate IS Regulation and IS Policies; with ABB regulations and ABB guidelines of which accountability and responsibility for this position are derived; and with any other Internal Control regulations that may be assigned.
If requested, contributes to the overall CX Platform Solutions Strategy and its execution to fulfill its mission.
Provides leadership to people, direct teams, work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice normally without carrying line responsibility.

Your background

15+ years’ experience; 5+ years in IT Product Leadership management/ program/ demand experience; 4+ years in demand/ capacity/ utilization related experience; 2+ years experience working in global roles serving functions and businesses.
Bachelor’s degree in computer or business related discipline or equivalent job experience required
Experience applying resource capacity models that align to the maturity level of the organization to define demand and utilization
Proven ability to design and implement effective systems and methodologies for tracking progress, opportunities, risks, and budgets
Strong communication skills (including presentation skills) with success in influencing all levels cross-functionally
Proven ability to collaborate and demonstrate relationship building skills
Proven ability to function effectively across a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and constituents
Demonstrated ability to focus a team to achieve goals
Demonstrable experience in synthesizing large volumes of information and producing high-quality analysis to support senior management level decisions
Experience with configuring and working with Power Platform.
Experienced with Agile development (scrum)
