Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Project context / Team
As a RedHat Solution Architect, you will position yourself as the bearer of the hybrid-Cloud architecture and RedHat technical referent within your team, supporting major customers in sectors as varied as automotive, industry, banking/insurance, healthcare, the public sector, communications, luxury goods and retail.

Missions
Your role will involve qualification, pre-sales, design and application development as part of a project team on Red Hat products such as Openshift, Ansible and Edge. You may also be involved in the upstream phases of defining target architectures or setting up technical demonstrators.

Responsibilities

Analysis of business and technical requirements
Definition of Cloud and RedHat solution architecture
Definition of the solution's target operating model
Estimate solution build and run costs
Support for development teams
Consulting on application migration to the Cloud and system modernization
Study of hybrid solutions
Assessing the impact of solutions according to their type of implementation (Cloud, Managed, On Premises, etc.)
Promotion of our Cloud and RedHat expertise to our customers
Active contribution to the community of Cloud architects and RedHat experts.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Min. 3 years as an application engineer (architect).
Min. 3 years in working in agile teams (Scrum, SAFe)
Min. 2 years in Red Hat Cloud solutions
Min. 3 years in complete SDLC incl. DevOps toolchain
Red Hat Certification
Experience in Jira and Confluence
Experience in Java and Python
Experience in dev tools like IntelliJ, Cucumber, Cypress, X-Ray, GitHub, Jenkins and Innovator
Experience in frameworks/technologies such as Spring Framework, REST, Kafka, Junit, Git, Maven, Gradle, Splunk, Grafana, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Angular / ReactJs and Camunda / jBPM.

Languages Skills

Fluent level of German and English is mandatory for this role
