In control centers of police and rescue organizations, every second counts. Hexagon's dispatching systems support dispatchers in providing emergency callers with help as quickly and effectively as possible.

As a Project Engineer Public Safety, you are responsible for the following tasks:

You are part of a team that plans, implements, and technically supports command and control systems for emergency organizations
You are involved in all phases of the project cycle, from requirement analysis, specification, configuration, development, installation, testing, documentation up to the acceptance - partly directly at the customer’s site
You deploy software components automatically: development, implementation and maintenance are done via CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
You are the connector between development, support, project management and our customers
You work according to our agile framework and adapt flexibly to the requirements and changes

You should have the following qualifications to work as a Project Engineer Public Safety with us:

You have a technical university degree or a comparable education
You have a general understanding of programming languages, especially .Net
You are familiar with and you can use web technologies (including React)
You have a basic knowledge of networks and a solid knowledge of Windows server operating systems (configuration and maintenance)
You have skills in working with databases (SQL Server)
You have strong communication skills (within your team and to our customers) and the ability to explain technical topics in an understandable way
You have very good German (preferred native) and English (fluently) language skills. Knowledge of French is a plus
