CBmed is a center for biomarker research in medicine with headquarter in Graz. It links excellent research infrastructure, scientific expertise, medical knowledge, national and international industry partners for systematic medical biomarker research. To strengthen our team in Graz, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious, committed Senior IT Expert (f/m/d)Your tasks and r esponsibilities:SharePoint account and file administration with an emphasis on cybersecurity and GDPR General server and networking administration (security updates, upgrades, data backup and archival) Ensure secure data storage and data transfer to customers and project partners in the role of a data steward Acquisition and maintenance of new on premise and cloud based server infrastructure, as well as support during installation and configuration Help automize company internal processes and workflows Assist software developers and data scientists with DevOps tasks for in house software development projects Assisting IT Support Engineers for complex problems on Windows and MacOS when required Expected skills and a bilities:MSc in IT/ computer science or 5 years of working experience in the area Experience in server administration and networking (Windows and Linux, including PowerShell and Bash) Experience with Microsoft products, especially Azure Active Directory (Entry ID), Power Platform , Exchange, SharePoint, M365 Very good knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, and the Microsoft Office Suite Expected soft-skills:Careful, accurate and reliable way of working. High degree of self organization and independence. Open to resolving unforeseen and complex technical situations and constant learning Willingness to coordinate holidays with a second colleague Good listening, communication, and personal skills to provide understandable explanations to the staff and solve problems quickly. "Make it work" mentality and strong skills in find ing practical and sustainable solutions Very good command of German, spoken and written. Good command of English. "Documentation mentality" and a good understanding of how to write concise, useful documentation Optional and beneficial skills:Experience with backend infrastructure is a plus (VMware, nginx, docker, Experience in software development is a plus (python, R, JavaScript, software t esting and CI/CD tools Experience with collaborative working tools is a plus git , ticketing Knowledge about ISO27001 is a plus What we offer:You will have the opportunity to work in an international connected company, within a young, dynamic, and international team Your work on improving and maintaining our IT infrastructure will directly impact patient well being, both in the short term through drug screening approaches and in the long term through state of the art biomarker research Opportunity to learn new tools and shape your own work experience by using the technology and tools of your choice We offer an unlimited contract with a minimum annual salary from EUR 53 200 gross based on 40 hours/week.
