As part of the product development team for route control you are responsible for the development of the next generation of peripheral components for our route control product family. YOUR CHALLENGEDesign, Implementation, Unit/Module Testing, Documentation of peripheral components for next generation of interlocking control systems SW/HW integration of embedded systems Working on and with highly available, safety critical systems Collaboration in an international and agile team and other Thales units YOUR PROFILECompleted technical education (HTL, FH, Uni) in Computer Science or similar +3 years of experience with the full lifecycle of a software development project: design, development, module testing, verification, deployment and maintenance You are a team player with the following technical competence Background with modern object-oriented software development (Java SE) SW/HW integration: embedded systems LINUX OS knowledge (system configuration, bash, scripting) Continuous build and integration (Gerrit, Git, Eclipse, Maven, …) as user It would be an asset if you have the following technical competences Virtualization technologies, networking, cybersecurity LINUX gnu tool chain (as user) Behavior driven development (BDD): Cucumber, Gherkin Fluency in English WE OFFERThe salary for this position ranges from EUR 55.000 to EUR 70.000 gross p.a.
