To support our growth plans, we're looking for a motivated Fronted Developer to become an integral part of our product team. HOW WE WORK AT CHECKYETIWe interact directly with people across the company, from the founders to marketing, business development, and customer happiness teams. Every product team member gets the chance to quickly take over responsibility and directly impact our product and the millions of people using it. We work with React, Redux, Less, Webpack in the front-end and Microservices based on Node.js and Java Spring in the back-end. Our architecture is built on scalable micro services and is running in the Amazon Web Services cloud. We employ agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum with a constant focus on delivering value to the customer. We work with short release cycles (3-5 times per week) powered by our CI/CD pipeline based on Jenkins and Docker. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLEDevelop new features in our web platform with full end-to-end responsibility Develop new SPAs for our products Proactively contribute to UX/design, development standards and technologies used Write integration and unit tests to ensure high quality and well tested features Work with our CTO and architects to improve the performance, security and availability of our platform Stay on top of current technology trends to introduce new technologies that enhance our product and way of working WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR3+ years of front-end development experience Deep knowledge of ReactJS/ES6, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, LESS or Sass, WebPack A strong sense for good screen design/usability combined with very high quality standards Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps best practices is a plus Desire to take ownership and ability to thrive on that (taking on responsibility is expected) Active communicator, hands-on team player and open for feedback Flexibility and high level of personal commitment Fluency in English is essential as it's the working language, German is an advantage A valid visa/work permit to live and work in the EU/Austria is required WHAT WE OFFERExciting role in our product development team with great freedom to initiate and implement innovative ideas An ambitious & experienced team with a clear vision in a dynamic scale-up environment Technical coaching and regular feedback sessions with our CTO and architects Choose your own device (mac, linux, windows) Regular team events (sledging, skiing, rafting, pub quiz, laser tag, barbecue, game night...)
