HOW WE WORK AT CHECKYETIWe interact directly with people across the company, from the founders to marketing, business development, and customer happiness teams. Every product team member gets the chance to quickly take over responsibility and directly impact our product and the millions of people using it. We employ agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum with a constant focus on delivering value to the customer. We work with a modern tech stack (React/JS in the front-end, Java microservices in the back-end), employ short release cycles (3-5 times per week) and run our platform on a cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services). WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLEWork on innovative concepts and transform them into actionable projects Translate business needs into clearly specified requirements for the team Support the team in delivering outstanding quality (provide clear acceptance criteria, define and run test cases) Lead the implementation team to ensure an efficient and on-time project delivery Build deep knowledge about our business and our users to shape the future development of our product WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORYou have a know-how of Agile Methods (Scrum) and Software Development processes You have strong analytical skills and a very structured and diligent working style Previous experience as Product Owner/Project manager is a significant advantage Background in consumer-centric web products, particularly with e-commerce/online marketplaces, is a big plus You are a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and openness to feedback You have a high level of personal commitment and flexibility You are fluent in English (our primary working language) You have a valid visa/work permit to live and work in the EU/Austria WHAT WE OFFERExciting role in our product development team with great freedom to initiate and implement innovative ideas An ambitious & experienced team with a clear vision in a dynamic scale-up environment Technical coaching and regular feedback sessions with the Head of Product and CTO Choose your own device (mac, linux, windows) Regular team events (sledging, skiing, rafting, pub quiz, laser tag, barbecue, game night...)
