Furthermore, our customers appreciate the simple and elegant usability of the platform (via UX, CLI and API), as well as the strong price/performance ratio.Exoscale is part of A1 Digital and the A1 Telekom Austria GroupWork location: Vienna, Austria Job Purpose:As a Junior Developer at A1 Digital, you will be a vital part of our Exoscale Center of Expertise team, assisting in the creation, modification, maintenance of software applications and with a focus on a project that is part of a research project for cloud federation (Gaia-X). This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong educational background and a passion for technology. What you do: Design, coding, and testing of software applications using a broad technology stack including Java and Go, as well as relevant technologies like Docker/Kubernetes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards. Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to software architecture, design, and functionality. What you offer: Strong understanding of programming and cloud infrastructure concepts and data structures. Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java and Go and with frameworks and tools such as Docker/Kubernetes or at least a familiarity with it and the willingness to learn.
