What you will do

Developing Cloud Native applications with Kubernetes
Working on a large scale distributed system using microservices and service mesh which are all based on containers
Building prototypes and demos for the product management- and architects team to analyzes the pros and cons of a technology in a hands-on fashion
Ensuring and maintaining full automation of testing and release processes
Deploying team products to cloud environments
Contributing to open source projects

What you bring
Required skills

Preferred field(s) of study: computer science, software engineering or equivalent
Development skills in one (or more) of modern programming languages: Go, Java, NodeJS
Openness to new programming languages and cloud-oriented technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies, frameworks, etc.
Good communication skills and communicative English

Experience with AI
Reactive & functional programming
Building Cloud Native applications
Building/consuming secured REST API
Working on large scale distributed systems

Our team develops Kubernetes-based runtime for SAP's Business Technology Platform. We build fully distributed, highly scalable, microservices-based architecture leveraging standard OSS Cloud Native Foundation technologies. It offers our customers a modern way to extend and integrate their applications with the cloud-native world. We form the foundation for all extensions and integrations of all SAP systems, and our work enables our customers, partners, and internal teams to develop their services.
