DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)Join the Continuous Integration team of a high-tech company in the semiconductor industry and be an important part of the transition to the build and deployment architecture of the future. Your work will be of crucial importance for production and be used in state-of-the-art semiconductor fabs around the world. Your Responsibilities:Maintenance and development of a build system spanning over 60+ projects including over a million lines of code in different programming languages Build and test a menagerie of C++ and Python projects while integrating developer toolchains Build and deliver third-party packages and stacks Design, implementation and maintenance of CI pipelines in Jenkins/Argo Continuously improve efficiency of Pipeline resource usage and reliability Provide support to developers facing issues with CI Pipelines Maintenance of an on-prem Kubernetes CI infrastructure running with purely Open-Source solutions on highly specialized hardware Monitoring Pod Health and Logs Maintaining Resource Usage Limits Contribute to the processing of special tasks or, if necessary, to collaborate in partially cross-divisional projects by contributing the subject-specific know-how. Your Qualification:3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or software development Practical experience in installing and configuring Linux-based operating systems Experience with Jenkins or Argo Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) Experience with (meta-)build systems/tools (e.g. Make, Bazel), package management systems (e.g. RPM, DEB, Conda) and container build tools (e.g. Buildah, Docker) Interest in or knowledge of the following advanced concepts: provisioning (Ansible, Terraform), package repositories (Nexus, Pulp), monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), storage systems (Ceph) Working knowledge of Groovy/Java, Go or comparative programming languages and shell scripting with interest in solving problems programmatically Independent and structured workstyle Excellent command of spoken and written English We offer:We are a leading high-tech company with headquarters in Austria and international subsidiaries (Taiwan, Korea, USA) Excellent professional and personal development opportunities in an international company Very collegial and motivated team with short communication channels Top-equipped workplace (modern office, laptop, height-adjustable desk, very good company restaurant) An attractive salary package that starts at an annual gross salary of 53.200, - EUR for this position and can be higher depending on experience (KV Metal industry).
