SYSTEM TESTER (F/M/X)As a System Tester you have to check that all components of our safety critical product, the Operational Management Center (OMC; in German: Betriebsführungszentrale, BFZ), fit together and are operating smoothly. This cloud-based, containerized solution is a highly available system with multiple redundant instances and the backbone of the operations of the Austrian State Railway to guarantee a safe and frictionless travel of millions of train passengers. YOUR CHALLENGEReview of requirements to define the test strategy / test cases accordingly Definition, execution and reporting of system-, integration- and performance tests in a complex environment Maintenance of our test environment (HW/SW, installation, configuration) Definition and creation of needed test documentation Identification and implementation of improvements Close cooperation with development, quality assurance, operations and project management YOUR PROFILECompleted education (HTL, FH, University) preferably in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Railway Engineering or similar ~ 5 years of relevant experience and expertise on test design on system and integration level Practical experience with Java, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes or similar Experience in tools for requirements, test- and defect management ISTQB certification like technical Test Analyst is a plus Knowledge about test automation on different levels is a plus Experience in agile methodology is an advantage Fluency in English and a good level of German Innovative, adaptable and customer-oriented team player WE OFFERThe salary for this position ranges from EUR 53.000 to EUR 65.000 gross p.a. Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification and can exceed the mentioned range.
