Job description
Cloud Automation Engineer/Consultant | Data Centre, VMware Aria, Ansible, Terraform | Austria
Cloud Automation Consultant is sought after by an engineering first tech solution company based in Austria. After almost 10 years’ in their field, this IT solution provider has become one of the best in Europe and is trusted by a wide range of clients to deliver the consultation and development needed for them to really excel. They are experts in security, networking, big data and DevOps (to name only a few) and due to their continued growth, need an experienced cloud automation engineer to join their team.
This role will require you to:
Work with customers within a data centre automation environment to gather and analyse their requirements
Help on the creation and organisation of automation concepts (and assist with any high level troubleshooting)
Be involved with architectural design strategy workshops as well as the implementation of the solutions
Work on the roadmaps for this implementation
Skills and experience required:
3+ year’s experience in data centre automation
Skills using Terraform, Ansible, VMware Aria
Comfortable working on both Linux and Windows systems
CLI expert
Experienced in dealing with IP networks
Previous experience working in a customer focussed team
Fluent in both English and German
Any API programming experience is desirable (Python, JavaScript, Powershell etc.)
Knowledge of working to ITIL practises
