The role
We believe that our engineers don’t recognise or limit themselves by a specific set of tools. However, here is the stack that we use on a day-to-day basis:

Vendure, Commercetools and BigCommerce as commerce platforms
PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB for our databases
Nest.js for our backend and microservices
Next.js and React for our frontends
Docker for local development and deployment
Kubernetes and Docker Swarm for container orchestration

Responsibilities

Actively participate in coding and solution engineering for a client squad, dedicating your efforts to creating high-quality, innovative software solutions.
Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager and a team of up to 7 engineers, contributing to both front-end and back-end development with a focus on JavaScript technologies.
Uphold high code quality standards and contribute to Quality Assurance (QA) processes to ensure excellence in software development.
Work in tandem with the Product Owner to engineer solutions based on specific requirements, ensuring the final product meets client expectations and project goals.
Assist in sprint planning sessions, contributing to the breakdown of large user stories into manageable tasks, and promoting efficient workflow for timely project completion.
Regularly perform code reviews, uphold coding standards, and proactively identify potential issues to maintain high code integrity.

What we’re looking for

A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on full-stack development using JavaScript technologies (Node.js, React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
Excellent coding skills and experience in developing both client and server-side applications.
The ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is advantageous, providing a strong foundational understanding of technical aspects, but is not mandatory.
Experience working in an agile development environment, demonstrating adaptability to flexible project management methodologies, and a collaborative, iterative approach to software engineering.

A competitive annual gross salary ranging from 54.000€ to 68.000€, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
