We've partnered with an Austrian based company making an impact across the globe, they are looking for an innovative Senior Java Engineer to help revolutionise the pet industry.
Their flagship product is their GPS Tracking Collar, which also monitors your pet's exercise and health providing you with all the data straight to your phone.
You'll be using your skillset to work on their GPS Tracking System, the data it is collecting, ensuring the overall system is scalable, reliable, and performant. You'll also be working on several greenfield features. We need innovative engineers who can also bring fresh ideas and technologies into the business.
With the pet industry attracting huge amounts of investment across the globe, it is an exciting place to be. This business received a large amount of funding and are focusing on building out the heart of the business, their engineering teams.
As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be:
Driving innovation, designing and implementing new features
Focusing on data sets brought in by their live tracking systems.
Enhance scalability and system availability of their current systems.
Keeping the business at the forefront of cutting-edge technology stacks
Designing and building prototypes for future projects.
As a Senior Java Developer, you should bring:
Extensive experience working with Kotlin(Java/Scala)
Deep understanding of design and architecture
Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes
Experience working with Microservices (design and development)
Experience working with NoSQL Databases
Experience working with large data sets.
